Information Literacy

The Faculty of Health sciences library conducts a numerous information literacy session for students at undergraduate and master’s level as well as to the faculty staff. The training covers:

  • Differentiating between primary, secondary and tertiary information sources
  • Identifying places where to find scholarly information 
  • online medical databases, 
  • Understanding different searching techniques used in searching online databases, 
  • Evaluating information sources 
  • Understanding the use of reference management software like Mendeley, Endnote and Zotero.
